CONNECTING. BEAUTY.
Curator
Art Advisory
Special Projects
With a discerning eye and over a decade of experience, Von Heuer offers bespoke art advisory services that empower collectors to build meaningful collections anchored in cultural, critical, and market resonance. Her approach is guided by a belief in the transformative power of beauty and connection, where art becomes a bridge between the tangible and the transcendent, enhancing lives and fostering deeper relationships with the world.
Von Heuer has collaborated with private collectors and commercial institutions, particularly in the hospitality sector, to curate acquisitions that reflect their unique vision while contributing to broader narratives in art. Her expertise spans from emerging talent and mid-career artists to iconic blue-chip stewardship. Whether sourcing site-specific installations, multimedia pieces, or traditional mediums like painting and sculpture, she brings nuanced insight and depth to every acquisition.
Based in Los Angeles, a city at the forefront of the global art world’s evolution, Kira combines a deep understanding of the local art ecosystem with an international perspective. Her previous life in London and Paris established a seasoned sensibility for understanding the various styles and approaches toward the art of collecting. Although she frequently engages with art fairs, museum exhibitions, and studio visits with a magnifying glass on global art trends, it is her close relationships within the art ecosphere that offer her clients particularly rare experiences.
Her practice extends beyond acquisitions to encompass secondary market transactions, strategic placements, and collaborations with museums and nonprofits. Von Heuer is committed to offering her clients an immersive and personal experience, understanding that a tailored approach is essential to creating collections of lasting significance. For her, collecting is not just about ownership but about curating a life enriched by meaningful connections with the artists and works that inspire.
As a curator, she believes art transcends being a mere object; rather, it’s an environment in itself, creating powerful narratives and moments of profound connection.
In her previous life, she has taken on roles such as creative director, gallery director, designer, and entrepreneur/founder, collaborating with prominent cultural brands and companies. This has given her the skills to bring a more holistic approach when creating for special projects and creative endeavors.
All that said, she loves what she does and wants you to have the time of your life.
